End of The Road for Dare – Devil Robbers As Anambra SARS Operatives Terminate Their Campaign, Recover Arms, Amunitions, Local And Foreign Currencies

Rampaging and success – thirsty operatives of the Anambra State Police Command recently sustained the police supremacy in that state when they took the battle to the robbers domain, dismantled their structure and nabbed the lethal criminals, seized arms/amunitions and recovered stolen local and foreign Currencies, at the Ekwusigo LGA of the state.

The latest exploit by SARS Operatives who burst a robbery syndicate has augmented the breakthroughs recorded by the resilient men and officers in this command occured at about 12:30pm on 18/7/2020 as a result of actionable intelligence which led to the arrest of three suspects and the recovery of firearms/amunitions, and other incriminating items.

During this operation, Onyebuchi Osadebe, 28 years, from Akwu Ukwu in Ekwusigo LGA, Anambra State; Chibuike Ebere, 28 years, from Isiala Mbano LGA, Imo state, and Umoke Kelechi, 22 years old, from Ikwo LGA, Ebonyi state (All males); from them were recovered huge sums of local and foreign Currencies, firearms, amunitions, shuttle bus, tricycles and three assorted phones robbed from their owners.

According to Police Press Release signed by SP Haruna Muhammed, the Anambra State PPRO, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP John B. Abang, fdc, the syndicates had on the early hours of 11/7/2020, at Umuobi village, Akwu Ukwu allegedly robbed at gunpoint one Emmanuel Obi (male) of his #700,000,00; 8,000 Euro; 3,000 dollars and assorted phones.

The statement contained that the exhibits recovered from the suspects at point includes one pump action gun, one fabricated gun, four live cartridges, #610,000,00 cash; 4,600 Euro cash, 600 dollars, one shuttle bus newly purchased with the victim’s money, two new tricycles and three assorted phones.
The suspects, according to the statement, have confessed to the Crime voluntarily and investigations that would lead to their prosecution is ongoing.

The Commissioner of Police, sequel to this development had assured the people of Anambra State that the command, under his care would sustain the tempo of assault on the crime zones of the state until criminal elements repent or relocate elsewhere.
