A society watch group, Rightness Ambassadors, has passed a vote of confidence on the administration of Hon. Comrade Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya, Executive Chairman, Igando / Ikotun Local Council Development Area.

In a new year statement signed by its President, Comrade Joel Bamidele Folowosele, and made available to newsmen, the group reached this verdict after assessment of LGs in certain Southwest states which included Lagos.
The statement affirmed that in Igando/Ikotun, the chairman is intentional about development, focusing on specific infrastructure, amenities and policies that bring special succour to the people.

It equally pointed that the council area is managed by a man of vision and character.
” In the healthcare sector for instance , the executive chairman from his inception focused on sustainable strategy which today has enabled an enviable Primary Healthcare Sector targeting full 24 hours service.
“Some of the leadership actions that dotted his 100 Days in Office recently, were efforts towards achieving the Doctors’ quarter which would catalyse uninterrupted health services, especially as the Local Govt health facility also services citizens coming from Idimu and Egbeda, even Ejigbo.
“Commencement of roads, drainage networks that will change the face of areas or streets that have dwelled in what can be termed age long neglect.
” Education, lighting and electrification projects that bring solace to the people, etc”, the statement conveyed.

Similarly, the group described Igando/ Ikotun as a domain of Lagos currently governed by a quintessential administrator who has a listening air to get the yearnings of the people, disclosing that Akinsanya’s open door policy make the citizens of that council area parts of leadership.

Recall that Comrade Akinsanya is running a second term as executive chairman on popular demand, due to his uniqueness and enviable leadership features that have altered Igando / Ikotun’s socio economic paradigm.
