One of the leading change and development advocates that Nigeria can boast of today is Ambassador Steve Nwose, chief convener of the speak up Nigeria Group, who remains a worthy Patriot of the Nigerian nation doing great exploits as an investor, entrepreneur and an employer of labour in the united States of America.
Statesmanlike Nwose, ruled by patriotism, has continued to pay immense contributions to the socio-political cum leadership development of Nigeria through advocacy, refusing to be deterred by the comfort afforded by the economy of the united states where he resides .
At intervals Nwose intervened in crucial affairs of Nigeria, especially when they affect the masses. These he does by proferring abjective opinions that could help heal the land, usually through Media Angles.
As the #Endsars protest came and abated, he has maintained that Nigeria must adopt true federalism to solve most of her socio-enonomic, even security problems. Nwose has told anyone who cares to know that the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable, and the state policing should be the next approach that the authorities must adopt to take security to the grassroots; from where high profile crimes emanate due to poverty and lack.
In this brief chat with Timeswatch when he was contacted online; he stressed that the recent #Endsars protest were the biggest uniformed peaceful agitation ever held by young people of Nigeria. He however expressed pain that the demands of the youths are taken with a pinch of salt by the federal authorities of Nigeria who only paid a momentary attention to disperse the protesters.
He also described as shameful the appearance of military personnel at the lekki protest aground in Lagos.

ON THE JUST ENDED #ENDSARS PROTEST:
It was good that the people, especially the youths dared to speak up against police brutality and bad leadership.
But it was shameful that govt went violent to stop a constitutional move.
ON THE AFTERMATH OF THE PROTEST: Well, as usual, the govt are buying time as usual to make sure that everything dies down so that the govt corruption and deception can continue. It is so annoying that this is happening in my home nation, and that the International Community are laughing at us as a people.

I am both amused and amazed. I am also very angered that the same govt who committed illegitimacy by applying brutality on peaceful protesters and also tactically sending hoodlums to attack and disrupt protesters who gathered for a nation-changing procession-peacefully; are the ones crying foul. It is ridiculous and remains a gimmick to cover the abvious .
THE FG FROWNED AT THE WAY CNN REPORTED THE LEKKI SAGA, DESCRIBING THE REPORT AS SUCH THAT COULD CONFLAGRATE THE NATION-WHAT IS YOUR VIEW?
The Nigeria govt is only using propaganda to cover up their inglorious acts. The crocodile tears is a way to shut the world up, whereas they owe everyone apologies. The govt was apparently frustrated by the negative media publicity that greeted their mess.
ON WHAT HE THINKS MAKES NIGERIA’S POLITICAL SYSTEM STRANGE AND RETROGRESSIVE.
The Nigeria system is a queer democracy where corruption reigns supreme. For Nigeria to experience rapid growth, she must embrace true federalism which is practiced in great nations.
True federalism will also stop all forms of restiveness. Under true federalism, the central or federal govt. Will have no business with state affairs, and by this, everything will work well towards promoting unity and progress of Nigeria.
As a person. I strongly believe that Nigeria should remain one strong, properous and indivisible nation.
In all of these, the Media must play its role as a watchdog to always mount pressure on the govt to do the right things at all times.
