The commissioner of police,Lagos State,CP Hakeem Odumosu has debunked the latest social media information on general raiding, regarding it as rumour. He made this statement during a press briefing that was held on 5th of February,2020,at the state command,Ikeja through the Police Public Relations Officer,DSP Bala Elkana.

CP Odumosu, after receiving the message via social media about a planned general raidding by the police on Thursday and Friday nights from 8pm throughout Lagos state, said that the information is not only false but mischievous, calculated towards creating fear on the minds of the people. He urged Lagosians to disregard the message and treat it as fake news.

“CP Odumosu is known to be committed at providing safe and secured environment for Lagosians to enjoy more of the night life provided by the State. The Command has also emplaced round the clock security across the State”, Elkana added.
