AS the new local council leaderships in Lagos settle down for business, a leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Igando/ Ikotun Local Council Development Area, Chief , M. A Fayemi has expressed confidence that Comrade Ayinde Lasisi Akinsanya, the executive chairman of the council will provide dividends of democracy uniquely.
Chief Fayemi who is also the Akogun of Shasha kingdom and the Chairman of a Community Development Association in the Ijegun area of the council, said that Akinsanya is a square peg in a square hole in the current scheme of things as far as the socio-political evolution of the area is concerned, pointing that his emergence is the best thing to ever happen since the creation of the council area.
“Comrade Akinsanya is a good administrator and manager who already knows the problems of the LCDA.
” He needs no special research support to know how best to channel resources to fix the problems. This is why I am saying that the people are lucky.
“He has already started work to prove he came to make a difference.Akinsanya is a blessing to Igando/Ikotun people”, he stated.
Fayemi however used the medium of this chat to thank the electorate for coming out en masse to ensure the victory of the party. He also congratulated the chairman, party leaders and loyalists for the APC victory, asking the executive chairman to sustain focus and speed.
