MOTORISTS and residents as well have lauded the executive chairman of Igando/Ikotun Local Council Development Area, Mrs.Morenike Adeshina Williams for the ungoing rehabilitation of Obabiyi, an important link into and out of the popularAbaranje road in Ikotun area of the council.

Some of the operators of the popular commercial tricycles who were quizzed by Timeswatch correspondent, expressed satisfaction for the present motorable state of Obabiyi street as against its initial deplorabe condition.

Some residents who contributed also commended the council for embarking on the repair, pointing that the road had been left unnoticed for years.
They however tasked the government to proceed with the good works.

The rehabilitation of this significant access route followed the facelift given to the Primary Healthcare facility at the Better Life end of Abaranje, for improved health services to the rural people.
