PEACE RETURNS TO SOUTHEAST SOON, DECLARES APC LEADER

Optimistic that the present spate of insecurity in the south eastern Nigeria will not linger, the Lagos state woman leader of Ndigbo in APC, Amb.Princess Obiageli Onu, has said that the east will bounce back to normalcy.

Speaking to Timeswatch at a recent Igbo cultural fiesta in Lagos, Onu who was honoured with a meritorious service award by an apex Igbo socio cultural body, Ndi Igbo N’Alimosho, said that the Igbo nation is blessed with people of vision who rule the world of commerce and industry globally, a reason she said the region will soonest, overcome its present challenges, no matter how much.

On a national scale, she averred that the polity will soon stabilise at all fronts, stressing that great improvements will occur before the end of 2021, and continue till 2023.

Lauding the organisers of the event for sustaining the heritage of Ndigbo , Onu affirmed the need to promote the Igbo culture, describing it as the basis of her beautiful root.
