MY PASSION FOR EDUCATIONAL EMPOWERMENT IS BORNE OUT OF EXPERIENCE- Dr. Ngozi Okafor

In my bid to give back to the society and make the world better than I met it, I ensure that indigent children acquire modern education, Dr.Prophetess Ngozi Okafor has told Timeswatch.

At a just concluded Igbo cultural festival, held in Alimosho, Lagos state, Dr.Okafor who received a humanitarian award at the event, stressed that the unity and progress of Ndigbo means a lot to her.
She also said that when good works are recognised, it is a call for greater services. She however thanked the organisers for honouring her, while promising to advance her deeds.

“I have over 1000 people on my scholarship scheme, out of which 150 will graduate from the University this year.
” It was difficult for me to go to school growing up, until I got a govt.scholarship.
“This singular experience sparked my philanthropic works which know no frontiers”, she said.

Dr.Okafor remains the General Overseer of Truth Visionary Mission, Chairman/ CEO, TTVM Int’ l School, and Chancellor, Vision University.
During her birthday occasion on 1st October in Lagos, another set of 100 young Nigerians won her scholarship to attain levels of education.
