NATIONAL UNITY: IGBO COMMUNITY LEADER IN LAGOS CONFERS CHIEFTAINCY TITLES ON IGBOS, YORUBAS, HAUSAS, OTHERS, CHARGES THEM TO BE GOOD AMBASSADORS ANYWHERE

In what could be termed a unifying traditional leadership stride, the Igbo speaking community monarch in FESTAC, His Majesty, Eze Prosper Chukwuka, has crowned diverse Nigerians with chieftaincy titles.
The traditional fiesta which took place in his palace on Sunday, at 1st avenue, Q close, attracted dignitaries and people of different nationalities and from walks of life.
Over 60 titles were conferred on the recipients who reside both in Nigeria and the diaspora.

The palace of Eze Prosper, popularly known as ‘Eze Ome Ihe Ukwu’, was filled to capacity as various traditional activities took place.
The day long celebration soon turned into merrymaking and cultural displays, as the guests which included His Highness, Eze Dr. John Nwosu, Eze Igbo/ Asiwaju Ndigbo of Mushin land wined and dined amid heavy entertainment.
Some of the new chiefs, in expressing appreciation, hailed the Eze and described him as a rare icon of philanthropy whose charitable works they want to be part of .
They equally referred to him as a detribalised fearless leader who loves his country.

When Eze Prosper spoke with journalists on ground, he used the occasion to thank his royal colleague from Mushin, the Ohanaeze, all guests.
He importantantly saluted the indigenes for their love.
In talking about the coronated chiefs, Eze Prosper noted that they are young Nigerians full of patriotism, zeal and kindness who will work with him deep into the future to make Nigeria a better place, starting from FESTAC.

When Eze Nwosu spoke, he stressed that Eze Prosper is his brother and friend of decades, who must be supported to excel, expressing satisfaction at the level of affection trailing his ezeship.
He however urged the igbos love and cooperate with their hosts who gave the environment for their activities, advising that in the urgency of now, Igbo youths should be more industrious and patriotic as all time enterprising role models.
