LARGELY endorsed and highly popular aspirant for the exalted chairmanship of the Igando/Ikotun Local Council Development Area, Akinyemi Afeez Akintunde, popularly known as Tripple A, has raised the alarm over the rumour that he had jettisoned his aspiration and ambition to head the council soonest, stressing that nobody should heed and believe such unfounded and misleading rumour.
The rumour which arose after the LGA meeting of the All Progressive Congress held yesterday at the party’s Secretariat in Igando has drawn the irk of the young and ebullient contestant who appears to be the youngest and most popular of all aspirants already screened for the may 29th primary election.
Speaking to Timeswatch, Akinyemi who was endorsed by the Iyaloja (market leader) of Ikotun’s largest market (Irepodun) recently, appealed to the youths and entire people of Igando/Ikotun to discard, disregard and detest such talks emanating from the camp of the enemies.
He therefore appreciated all his fans and asked them to keep hope alive, particularly as the time to change the matrix of leadership in the interest of the masses has come.
