To say that Nigeria is at a precipice where a tragic collapse is imminent is to proclaim the obvious.
The reason for this conclusion stems from the apparent negative and fear evoking socio political events daily unfolding across our national space.
These ugly days, political ascendancy orchestrated by leadership desperation of aggrandizing political office holders seems to have bred citizens who have began to compete in the frenzied rush to shred the fabric that could adorn Nigeria like other sane societies.
Sadly those who occupy various political leadership positions are often detached from the people who truly own the power of sovereignty, and this is sequel to their preposterous alliance and allegiance to their powerful cronies.
The aftermath is a system that.usurps the nation’s sovereignty to feed the greed of a privileged few who often anoint and select loyalists into public and political offices for the continuation of the odd culture.
From the executive , the legislature to the judiciary , there is a disturbing trend where a jubilant few trample upon the collective desire and good of the citizens just to sustain the tempo of mal governance, thereby mindlessly suffocating the principles of democracy or separation of powers.
Elections come and go without a palpable institutional transformation; a reality that affirms how Nigeria’s socio political tradition keeps transitioning dangerously, making retrogressive advancement while real developmental indices reflect a sorry account visible for both local and global assessments.
Due to these, the country now suffers a myriad of socio economic fangs.
From hydra headed insecurity which pivots banditry , kidnapping or hostage taking for ransom , to the very satanic gangsterism which happens right inside the hallowed spaces of leadership, Nigeria has not only become vicious and hard, but has evolved into a haven where no one’s safety is really guaranteed.
Even the so called security operatives embody orientations that their official weapons meant to secure the people, are theirs to intimidate, oppress and victimize the citizens they are meant to respect and secure ( God bless good officers ).
While these ugly, very discomforting , even exasperating national vicissititudes perambulate almost free within a sovereignty, claiming territories, attracting youths hitherto abandoned in a bloody survival – of – the – fittest economy ; the.music from the rendezvous of reckless leaders trapped in a needless jamboree is loudest , especially with sycophants drawn from amongst us chanting their praises!
But as it is said, no amount of pressure, opposition or resistance should stop a people determined to redeem themselves , even their land from the throes or strangled holds of politicians applying demo – dictatorial , civo – military tactics to keep amassing power while emasculating the people.
No one can gainsay that the weaponisation of hunger, poverty and general hardship has been on the increase, and it breaks the heart to realize how civilian administrators have marshaled deadly tactics which resemble military decrees, against a state they should drive hurriedly away from the agonizing memories of the dark military days .
In the light of all of these, and against what seems like a deafening silence of those who should respond adequately since the return of democracy in 1999 ; Nigerians must, in this urgency, take actions , against their enemies – enemies who siphon and suppress Nigeria – a land richly blessed – a land that should be flowing with milk and honey.
As 2027 nears, Nigerians of all shades and facets should prepare for war, not the warfare of destruction, but that against those politicians milking Nigeria dry and making her a laughing stock – those impoverishing Nigerians – those not giving the citizens security , electricity, food, good roads, jobs, good life – those who privatize security agents leaving the masses in the hands of common criminals who do not allow them go to farms, markets, business places, travel freely ( the list is endless ).
It is time to reward them with shame for how much they have made Nigerians ashamed!
Wait for them, be ready to stop them, be ready to reject them – no matter what they bring, do or say. They are the evil winds against the lives of citizens, not GOD, not witches and wizards. In fact God our maker – the Almighty loves Nigeria and Nigerians. He hates the evil we do.
Please wait to reject them – they are in the Executive, National Assembly, State Secretariats , Local Govt Councils.
Take note that after divine power comes political authority in this world.
Never joke with those who must take leadership in 2027.
