After returning back to his base in America, having celebrated the yuletide in Nigeria, Pastor Iwaya Marvin, popularly known as Godsman has charged the federal government to ensure a better nation.
Through a video message made viral on social media, the preacher, motivational speaker and business mogul decried the extent of hardship presently facing Nigerians which he described as unbearable.

According to him, it is unfortunate that the cost of living remains painfully high even after the people hoped that the current leadership would end the misery created by the past govt.
Iwaya highlighted factors like naira scarcity, harsh outcome of the subsidy removal policy, unemployment, criminality and corruption as the bane and root of suffering in Nigeria.
Urging the FG to live up to the campaign promises which lured Nigerians to opt for those in power, he stated that the institutions should be strengthened so that anti graft or corruption agencies can actually carry out their functions to sanitize the system, no matter whose Ox will be gored.
“The agencies such as the EFCC, ICPC should be free to touch even those in power .
“They should not exist as tools for govt to fight critics and oppositions”, he opined.

On oil economy which appears to be Nigeria’s mainstay, Pastor Iwaya pointed that the govt should expedite action to deliver the promised Port Harcourt refinery as one of the benefits of subsidy removal.
He equally expressed surprise that the various palliatives the FG promised have eluded the poor masses.
Referring to Nigeria as home, he called on the govt to extend a hand of fellowship to Nigerian professionals scattered everywhere so that as stakeholders in the Nigerian project, they could inject their wherewithal towards the building of a better and prosperous Nigeria that can rekindle hope of all citizens.
The poor power situation of the country comprised his lamentation as he noted that electricity is a driving force in any growing economy.

He ended praying that God Almighty will shower the grace for Nigeria and Nigerians to attain their collective glorious destiny.
