OWU YOUTHS GATHER IN IBADAN, MAKE PLANS FOR GROWTH OF RUOP, NATIONAL ECONOMIC RECOVERY

THE National Executives of the Royal Union of Owu People (RUOP NATIONAL YOUTH WING yesterday converged at the Olugbode Palace, Ita Baale Ibadan, Oyo state for a crucial meeting hosted by the Oyo State Chapter of the Union, under the distinguished Chairmanship of Hon.Prince Adebola Adeleke-Olugbode.

The extensive meeting which lasted for about two days, starting from Friday night, was well attended by the hosts, Hon.Prince Adeleke-Olugbode, Chief Olajuwon Subair (Mogaji Ile Nla), Prince Ayodeji Olugbode (RUOP National Youth GEN.SEC) and the Head of Owu Descendants in Ibadanland, Chief Tesleem Olugbode (Mogaji Olugbode), also had in attendance, the President of the National Youths Executives of RUOP, Alhaji Hakeem Yusuf and other executives.

The discussions and deliberations at the meeting revolved around their coming Youth Symposium for which a committee has been inaugurated.

The upcoming RUOP YOUTHS symposium will treat among other issues, Empowerment Programme for Youths; Award Presentation for Meritorious Owu Citizens and the Way Forward On National Economic Recovery.

The RUOP meeting was thronged by youth executives from all the southwest states and Kwara as well as representatives of Supreme Council of Owu Kings across the states.

Owu nation is a powerful and popular member of the Yoruba race.
