Researcher and renewable energy promotion professional, Prince Olusegun Okedele Timothy has sent a call to Osun indigenes everywhere to leverage the planned Osun Economic Summit to massively partake in fostering accelerated development of the state.

Okedele who is the current Chairman of the Nigeria Association of Small Scale Industrialist / Chief Executive Officer, Prince Olusegun Okedele Clean Mining Industries Ltd pointed that the proposed state economic summit is intended to leapfrog socio economic growth in Osun state.
According to Okedele, it is high time all sons and daughters of the state agglomerated to contribute multiple quotas to create the much awaited paradigm shift in Osun state that direly needs inputs of the citizens at home and in the diaspora.
“This period in time is peculiar and provides ample opportunity for development.
“It is not a time for political or sectional segregation, it is a time for synergy and mandatory collaboration aimed at pushing away all factors of underdevelopment from Osun land.
“We must join hands to build our home state”, Okedele said.

He disclosed that the govt in power tends to run an open door policy which means a direct call for partnership.
Okedele however pledged his readiness to back the state with various technologies which are accessible through his tested , trusted partners , who have funding capacity for GREEN projects.

He enumerated Renewable Energy [RE] and Alternative Energy [AE], which are capable of ensuring uninterrupted power especially for homes and industries (MSMEs); agriculture for food security, employment, and security – for that atmosphere where persons, properties and businesses can safely dwell and thrive – as significant areas he can immensely render consultancy services (even FREE ) to the state govt as part of his contribution to his home state, in the urgency of now.

He ended by applauding the state govt for setting a strategic trend that will warrant an enviable Osun state, usually known as a civil servants state, hailing Awelewa, the consultant to the govt for this all important summit slated for September, 2024.
