President, JPTS Institute of Science, Management and Technology, and Vice Chancellor, Global Wealth University, Togo, Prof. Christopher Irene Imumolen, has declared that the only way lasting peace can return to Nigeria is when the political elites begin to sincerely love and motivate Nigerians.

Speaking to Timeswatch correspondents at his international headquarters in Lagos midweek, Imumolen emphasized that love and motivation will finally proffer the much awaited panacea to the hydra headed woes befalling Nigeria and Nigerians, adding that a high level lovelessness and poor motivation for citizens, which result in poverty and underdevelopment, are the factors fanning the embers of crises in the country.

“Until the political elites start to show love to the citizens and motivate them with reasonable incentives, the people will continue to bicker and conduct themselves unpatriotically.
“Nigerians are pressed down with poverty, and are emasculated by dearth of good infrastructure and basic amenities because the leadership elites deliberately and cruelly chose that fate for them due to greed and wickedness. ” The day the elites realise that the citizens must be loved and motivated, the war looming will naturally stop.
“Americans are the proudest people on earth because they are respected by America due to the dignity their successive leaders accord them”, Imumolen noted.

On the increasing call for the restructuring of the Nigerian state, he affirmed that the need to achieve a Nigeria that will work can never be over emphasised at this crucial time, but also pointed that without love and motivation for citizens, the statusquo will never change.
“If Nigeria adopts regionalism or pursues true federalism with elites that are devoid of love for the masses, we would only be allowing the retrogressive mentality to precipitate and cascade, which means inviting new versions of socio economic crises into the restructured terrain”, he pointed.

Talking about the peculiarity of the JPTS, Prof.Imumolen stressed that the institute has over the years sustained its founding vision of standing to effectively provide educational succour within the national and international spaces, by ensuring the availability of qualitative but affordable tertiary education which has value at home and in the diaspora, with full cognisance for local and international norms, laws and standards.

Imumolen went ahead to proclaim that the JPTS is not just another education outfit but a covenant existing to groom scholars or graduates who will in the long run give back to their various societies to make the world a better place, the reason he said that a foundation, UNIC, was birthed to inject humanitarian supports to subsidise the opportunity to benefit different strata of humans, who have in one way or the other, have been deprived.
Against these backgrounds, Imumolen implored Nigerians to take advantage of the JPTS opportunity to acquire international qualifications for global relevance, admonishing all JPTS trainees and alumni everywhere to be good examples and ambassadors.

Remarking on the ugly societal trend of placing too much emphasis on credentials over potentials, he pointed that credentials should only be used as a sieving process during recruitment by firms, they should never be used to undermine potentials or capacity, the obvious reason he professed that the JPTS management places high premium on quality and standard.
