As an added feather of honour and responsibility, the Initiative for Better and Brighter Nigeria, IBBN on Friday, made Bishop Priscilla Otuya, Founder and President, Mothers of the Nation her Southwest Women Leader and Matron.
The crowning which took place at the banquet hall of the prestigious Rockview Hotel, Festac Town, Lagos, venue of the New Nigeria Leadership Forum, NNLF award, was done by Bishop James Grand Okocha, Vice President, IBBN.
During the conferment, Okocha said that Bishop Otuya shares similar faith and leadership ideologies with the IBBN, stressing that she is one of the few women leaders of our time who incorporates political training or impartation into biblical teachings in order to build a better world.
Okocha affirmed that Nigeria, more than ever, needs peculiar volunteers like Otuya to climb out of the quagmire of socio political insensitivity and insensibility that have crippled our once great nation and left it in the hands of evil leaders.
Congratulating Bishop Otuya, he urged her to continue to do more for God and humanity.
Bishop Okocha was also one of the recipients of the revered NNLF Leadership and Integrity Award.
His strong belief in public good and commitment to the course for a new Nigeria different from the old form which boasts of unity, freedom, love, features she is actually lacking, stand him out as a rising statesman.
