The former Executive Chairman of Ijero Local Government, Adeyemo Adeola is currently embattled as his Chief of Staff, Hon. Segun Ajisafe has exposed his shady deals.
The erstwhile CoS has disclosed how Adeyemo allegedly allocated some lock up stalls to people who included his girlfriend, without due process.
He claimed that Adeyemo did not end there, but proceeded to convert the proceeds from what was supposed to be govt business to his personal account.
In his further revelations, he stressed that Adeyemo ensured the conversion of 60% of the funds for self aggrandizement and collected 2 years instead of 1 year rent; alleging that his ex boss is now hunting him with the police.
According to information which also reached Timeswatch correspondent, the love between the CoS and Adeyemo went sour after Adeyemo claimed that he arbitrarily gave out shops without his (Adeyemo’s) consent.
It was gathered that the CoS became infuriated and told the crime account of his ex boss who is now bent on dealing with him allegedly.
The matter is presently unsettling many a party faithful in Ijero, especially this time when the president Tinubu led federal govt is out to crush corrupt practices.
Adeyemo lost his second tenure bid in the last election supposedly due to non performance and his dwindling political fame.
When Timeswatch called Adeyemo on phone to get his words on the ugly development, he immediately said he was not interested in discussing it.
The call became necessary after he refused to respond to a WhatsApp chat on same issue.
