A gory scene was recorded in Delta when a bullet allegedly fired by men of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA hit and killed a toddler in Asaba.
Earlier media reports had it that the shot which killed the toddler came from sporadic shooting of the NDLEA men who chased drug dealers at the Okpanam area of Asaba, Delta state.

Timeswatch further read that the sibling of the victim was also hit by a stray bullet in the eye, but that she survived unlike her brother who could not make it despite efforts by experts at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba.
Meanwhile, the NDLEA had issued a public notice that the agency is investigating the saga with the view to taking necessary action, even as it has opened talks with the concerned family.

Similarly, according to a report from the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO of the Delta state Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, the police is on top of the matter.
The report also said that the parties will report at the state command on Monday, 17 July to interview the Commissioner of Police.
