Mining professional and Renewable Energy/Agro technologies promoter, who is also the Osun state Chairman of the Nigeria Association of Small Scale Industrialists, NASSI, Prince Okedele Timothy, recently said that, His Excellency Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke may set development / economic records never seen since Osun state was created.
Okedele said this during a chat with Timeswatch reporter at the Landmark Hotel, Lagos where he attended an Energy Conference with a myriad of international professionals.
According to him, the conclusion on the governor began when his govt held the recent.Osun Investment and Industrial Summit poised to meaningfully address deficits in those crucial economic areas.
More so, Okedele emphasised that the governor’s speedy inauguration of the Osun chapter of the Organised Private Sector of Nigeria, OPS – N reflects His Excellency’s strong will, passion for industrial and economic revitalization necessary to position Osun state on enviable pedestal.
Continuing, Okedele said the governor also proved his determination when at the inauguration ground the Hon.Commissioner, Commerce & Industry, Rev. Jenyo, assured that the governor is set to provide an enabling environment for the Organised Private Sector.
According to Okedele, all indications present the tireless Osun Gov as one state Chief Executive who will not leave any stone unturned in pursuing leadership merit.
He however prayed the governor to critically consider a revolutionary action that targets energy support for all industries in Osun state, urging that strategic renewable energy investments can serve as production or efficiency catalyst to SMEs Clusters across the state.
Expressing gratitude to the govt for an unusual hand of fellowship to the OPS, he saluted his contemporaries for the opportunity granted him to serve as General Secretary of the Sector.
“In my capacity as the NASSI chair in Osun, and a personal creative move, I have already appointed a Chicago based Osun chapter member of NASSI as representative to harvest investors for Osun , and to lure well meaning Osun indigenes in the diaspora to look homewards as far as investments are concerned.
“The rep, Mr. Adeleke Eric Adebola, an Osun born corporate individual / patriot Par Excellence – MD/ CEO of LEJE Resources & Integrated Farms Ltd, is specifically charged to source investors, technologies for strategic developments in the agro sector and supporting technologies necessary for food sufficiency, GDP enhancement, employment creation and more”, Okedele affirmed.
Finalizing Okedele pointed that the forthcoming Osun Trade Fair will certainly enjoy diaspora support through the activities of NASSI – OSUN representative in Chicago who is saddled to sensitise Osun indigenes abroad to return home to build the state.
