A miner and renewable energy Professional, Prince Okedele Timothy Olusegun who is also the Osun state chapter chairman of the National Association of Small Scale Industrialists, NASSI has hailed President Tinubu for appointing His Majesty, Oba Abdur – Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Osun state, Pro Chancellor, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, AFUED.

Okedele saluted the president and described his action as square peg in square hole.
He noted that the Aragbiji is distinguished for his administrative prowess, even as he is a patriotic monarch of integrity.
Further, the energy researcher emphasised that the AFUED has a lot to benefit from this development, promising that he will be ready to unleash all technology opportunities at his disposal to support whatever initiative of the Pro Chancellor aimed at making the institution a model.

Especially, Okedele called on the monarch to consider working with the Vice Chancellor and others towards achieving energy independence for the university community, through clean source of energy generation.
He pointed that this feat will catalyse new wave of growth in the university through the introduction of Renewable Energy Education, stressing that the introduction and development of New Alternative Power Engineering in the academic community, using “one stop solution system” will change the matrix of AFUED and present it a one to be emulated by others in Nigeria and beyond.

Congratulating the Aragbiji also for his “Distinguished Alumnus” Merit Award of AFUED, Okedele wished him good health and long life, so that he will be able to do more for humanity.
