The much awaited special conference of God’s servants poised for national development will happen on Wednesday 29th May, at the prestigious Rockview Hotel, Festac town, Lagos.

From the stables of the International Council of Apostles and Bishops for Africa Regeneration (ICABAR), a wing of the United Gospel Churches Association of Nations, UGCAN, this august initiative themed, “H.E.L.P Nigeria will bring together, select clerics from diverse fronts to deliberate on how Nigeria can sincerely be Healed, Empowered, Loved & Promoted, by her own citizens at a crucial time as this when the land needs godly and positive contributions, rather than fruitless criticisms and unhealthy confrontational stances.

At this strategic conference spearheaded by nation building game changers, with ecclesiastical mandates, carefully identified development – practitioners, known to fear God and serve humanity through great deeds, are to be honoured as ‘Fathers of the Nation’.

President of ICABAR, Bishop Dr.Wilson Wokocha, shedding light on the import of the initiative, pointed that the H.E.L.P Nigeria Conference as put together by ICABAR is a crucial vehicle to seek peace, growth, prosperity and unity, pointing that the council, while pursuing propagation of divine injunctions and drawing men to focus on ways to make heaven by and by; believes in the collective good of Africans, within their blessed nations.
“We believe in supporting good governance through good examples.
“Mother Theresa once said, ” if all people sweep their frontage clean, what a clean world we would have”, Wokocha stressed.

International Prelate of UGCAN, Bishop (Dr.) Priscilla Otuya, a multi- dimensionally committed nation builder, in highlighting the event, noted that the UGCAN/ ICABAR conceptualised the initiative to catalyse positive mindset around leadership vis a vis the importance of supporting those in political positions to augur well.
She said, ” It is really time to Heal, Empower, Love and Promote Nigeria.
“Truth be told, the same ills visible everywhere are done by same citizens who criticize.
“We know that most African leaders are in a cradle created for them by colonial masters, and this is why we must use love to help them realise this grand evil , so they can join our crusade of regeneration.
“The need for critical empowerment and promotional actions by all stakeholders will go a long way to restore hope and activate godliness for overall good”.
Otuya emphasized the need for well meaning Nigerians to push this agenda in order to rescue our great land from becoming a field of butter confrontations where good hardly grows.
