At a time when insecurity is ravaging most parts of Nigeria, the Executive Chairman of Igando/Ikotun Local Council Development Area, Alimosho Lagos, Hon. Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya, is finalizing a partnership with the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA for a synergy to rescue the youths from the throes of hard drugs.

According to sources close to Timeswatch, the clairvoyant council helmsman is putting square pegs in square holes towards towards arresting the menace of drugs which are being abused at a dangerously high proportion by young people.
The sources disclosed that when the pact between the LCDA and the NDLEA is concluded, those who sell illicit drugs to jeopardize the future of the youths must flee the area , or wait to be arrested and prosecuted.
Similarly, the sources pointed that security reasons make up the plans since violent crimes are tightly connected to drugs intake.

As at the time of filing this report, Timeswatch correspondents have not been able to reach Akinsanya for further talks on this great and bold move.
However, it is commonplace that Hon.Akinsanya has zero tolerance for hard drugs peddlers , consumers and crimes associated to them.
A few leadership observers who were contacted hailed Akinsanya for his thoughtfulness these days of when the unimaginable is happening far and near.
