After a-month long participation at the Yali West Africa Regional Leadership Conference (Cohort 46 ) held in Accra Ghana, Nigeria’s foremost strategic midwife and motherhood safety practitioner, Lawal Opeyemi Kauthar, has returned home poised to rewrite the narrative in the world of midwifery.
Kauthar who runs an online Pre, Ante and Post natal training network, Lok Natal Care attended this all important, all expense paid entrepreneurship leadership summit sponsored by YALIRLC WEST AFRICA, USAID and GIMPA after being selected from a group of 7000 people to comprise the 98 final participants.
Professionals from 9 West African countries were at this 3-Week exhaustive training targeted at improving skills, entrepreneurship partnership and collaboration for the good of the region.
Kauthar is passionate about safe motherhood and reduction of maternal mortality in Nigeria and Africa in general.
She remains the darling of Nigerian mothers due to her simplified teaching and presentation techniques, most of which she disemminates through her Natal Care TV (online channel)
Her tender approaches to ante natal orientations also make journey into and through motherhood fun.
Recently, Kauthar received the Mothers of the Nations award as a mark of global recognition for her unquantifiable contributions to the pride of feminity.
She has also being listed for the African Women Integrity Hallmark (Award) – AFRI – WIHA slated to hold in Nigeria early March, 2024.
