President and Founder of Peace Ambassadors Initiative, a foremost nongovernmental organisation at the forefront of pursuing peace through non violence procedures in Nigeria and beyond, Ambassador (Chief) Abionanojie Cyril Ezewele, has become the Ome Udo Ndigbo of Alimosho, Lagos state.
This new identity was bestowed by the monarch of Ndigbo in Alimosho, the most populous Lagos local govt, HRH, Eze (Dr.)Nnamdi Lawrence Eze, Ezendigbo, Alimosho.
According to information obtained by Timeswatch correspondent at the palace, Ambassador Ezewele was considered for the enviable and unique chieftaincy after he was discovered to have been championing various peace initiatives which consolidated unity and harmonious coexistence across all ethnic and religion divides.
It was also gathered that the Igbo palace was triggered for action by Chief Ezewele’s monumental philanthropic works which have touched lives and enhanced the living of countless economically and physically challenged people, irrespective of tribe, colour, creed and religion.
Responding to the development, Chief Ezewele lauded the Ezeigbo for empowering him with this honour so connected to his global mission of peace advocacy and charity.
He promised to increase productivity henceforth in service to God and humanity.
