As a step to stem the tide of crime bedeviling service excellence at Alpha Beta Consulting LLP, and to draw the attention of the authorities to certain in house illegalities, Ex Technical staff, Segun Oluwasanmi has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, calling out, Olumide Hezekiah Idowu for forgery and data falsification otherwise called dwindling; and Mrs. Anjola Ige – Amusan for bribery.

The petition which was written by the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, CDHR called on the anti graft agency to investigate the allegations on Olumide Hezekiah Idowu, the Project Manager who was employed as Chief Technical Officer, and Anjola Ige – Amusan with the view to apportioning necessary disciplinary actions.
According to the petition, Idowu committed these technical crimes at various points in 2023 by extracting his (Oluwasanmi’s) signature and inserting it on certain sensitive documents of Alpha Beta for clandestine purposes, in violation of the laws guiding corporate governance of the organisation, and in negation of Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention etc Act 2015, particularly section 14 (Forgery of Electronic Records) and Section 25 (System Interference and Data Manipulation).
The petition stated that one of the discreet or overt plots of Olumide Hezekiah Idowu was the alleged manipulation of the “Revision History “( Section 7) of the 2023 Cybersecurity policy, altering historical records from the 2019 edition (where the initial release was attributed solely to Mr. Oluwasanmi) to now falsely include Charles Igbah, an act amounting to data falsification and tampering.

The petitioners also highlighted Mrs. Amusan’s alleged bribery dexterity which saw her allegedly collect the sum of #150,000,00 (one hundred & fifty thousand naira ) to back criminality in the organisation.
Further, the petition revealed that sequel to the complaint and confrontation, the Group Managing Director, GMD, Otunba Akinsanya Doherty, on 20th Sept, 2023, set up a panel to investigate the allegations against Hezekiah, and that on 28 Sept 2023, the CTO (Olumide Hezekiah Idowu) allegedly confessed to committing the acts before the panel.
Sadly, according to the petitioners, Mr. Segun Oluwasanmi was never furnished with the official copy of the panel’s report in violation of the Human Resources Policy; suppressive acts that grossly inhibited and militated against the the freedom of Mr. Segun Oluwasanmi who reportedly suffered forms of suffocation until he resigned from service, January 2025.

As at the time of filing this report, all efforts to reach Mrs. Amusan proved abortive as her phone rang out severally, while Idowu Hezekiah refused to comment on the allegations, insisting that Timeswatch should approach Alpha Beta for alleged actions credited to him in the petition, arguing that it was wrong that Oluwasanmi gave his contact to the Press.
