The Osun chapter chairman of the Nigeria Association of Small Scale Industrialists, NASSI, Prince Okedele Timothy Olusegun has hailed His Excellency, Dapo Abiodun for recently winning the position of Southern Governors Forum chairman.

Congratulating the governor at his Osogbo office yesterday on behalf of the entire Southwest NASSI, Okedele described the emergence as a feat for the Southwest, stressing that it reflects the relevance of Ogun governor in the current scheme of things in Nigeria.
Okedele averred that the media is awash with the news that governor Dapo Abiodun has built more roads in Ogun state than his predecessors.
Okedele stressed that NASSI celebrates such records that promote productivity in the SMEs sphere and enhance the Gross Domestic Earnings of communities.

On accelerated overall growth in the state which is catalysed by growth of the sectors, Okedele assured the Ogun governor and his counterparts in other southwest states in particular, of adequate collaboration from the Southwest NASSI towards aglomerating various techniques and technologies to boost economies and living standards of rural people, a step he said will cut down pressures on urban settings due to constant migratory actions.

“There are technologies at our disposal which if harnessed will greatly and positively impact areas of agro, energy and security for the deserved solace and peace”, Okedele assured.
He therefore urged Gov Dapo Abiodun to open his doors to NASSi in order to ensure new waves of economic or industrial opportunities in Ogun, the Southwest and Nigeria by extension.

In addition, Okedele emphasised that at a recent meeting of NASSI Southwest Chairmen, at the instance of the National Officer, Noah Oladoja (Dr. Fish), the need for synergy amongst all executive stakeholders can never be over emphasised as far as pursuing the vision of NASSI to sustain existing SMEs and create new ones is concerned.
He ended stating that the various state chapter chairmen will begin visits to their state governors towards fulfilling NASSI’s agenda to partner with govt to combat food insecurity, a situation he said is a major albatross in Nigeria today; buttressing the need for govt to look in the direction of alternative energy to help SMEs that suffer serious electricity dearth, especially in their drive for all year agro productivity for food sufficiency.

Prince Okedele Timothy Olusegun is the MD/CEO, Prince Ade’s Oke Int’l Ventures, a division of Prince Olusegun Okedele Clean Mining Industries Ltd.
