In furtherance of his good governance initiatives, and his people – oriented leadership, Senior Comrade, Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya, Executive Chairman, Igando/ Ikotun local Council Development Area, has activated the grading of 600 streets in his council area.
The grading action presently going on and delighting the communities, is part of the numerous developmental strides of his administration aimed at extending dividends of democracy in line with the renewed hope agenda of His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic.
Our roving camera spotted one of the graders in action on Awawu street, Abaranje area of the council, on Sunday.
Timeswatch gathered that the the people of the various streets greeted the street rehabilitation exercise with excitement, hailing the council boss for his relentless efforts in ameliorating the plights of the community people.
Sampling the minds of the people, words of commendation rained from majority, who gladly described the current leadership as having made remarkable achievements in infrastructure, health, education, youth/ masses empowerment/ skill acquisition, sports,security, etc.
Earlier in the year, a private leadership watch group, the Crusaders International Alliance rated Akinsanya high in terms of his commitment to democratic values and societal peace which is visible in the harmonious coexistence of Nigerians in the area.
Efforts to reach the council boss on phone for commentary was abortive as his phone rang out.
Hon. Comrade Akinsanya had received the Security and Safety award of National Watch Newspaper and is already scheduled for the Nigerian Statesmanship Seal of Timeswatch, for his exemplary political character.
