Following our letter to the planning committee and organizers of the Osun State Governorship Town Hall Meeting scheduled to hold today in Osogbo, the African Action Congress (AAC) candidate, Olajide Esan, has finally been included in the debate at the last minute.
According to an online statement released early today by Omoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of the party,
Eniola Bello, one of the organizers of the ARISE TV Town Hall Meeting, conveyed the decision to AAC leaders, confirming that Olajide Esan will participate.
Olajide Esan, inarguably the youngest candidate in the Osun governorship race, will now have the opportunity to present the AAC’s ideas, programmes and vision directly to the people of Osun State.
” This is exactly why we insist that every credible candidate must be given a fair opportunity to be heard. The people deserve to hear the alternatives and decide for themselves.
” Olajide Esan is ready. AAC is ready. Let the ideas speak”, the statement read.
