The Executive Director of a Youth Group, “Not Too Young To Lead” initiative, Ambassador Elvis Akpobi, has joined other prominent Deltans to felicitate with and honor His Royal Highness, Ogiame Atuwatse III, The Olu of Warri , whose coronation held recently.
According to a statement signed by the Executive Director on behalf of the Leadership and Executive Council of the “Not Too Young To Lead Initiative,”Amb. Elvis Akpobi, stressed that this felicitation is coming with great awe, deep reverence and high regards for the Ode-Itsekiri monarchy/Warri Kingdom.
He said “Not Too Young To Lead initiative” is an active youth group in the polity of Delta State and Nigeria, focused on youth development and advocating for youths with character and capacity to take up leadership role in the State and the country, at all levels.
Akpobi noted that the people are happy and revere the King with love, respect and praise.
He explained that the joy that filled the atmosphere on his coronation was epic and transcends the length and breadth of the nation, not just the Warri Kingdom.
The Director added that intellectual and positive thinking youths in the State have closely followed the Monarch’s trail of achievements over the years and that his extraordinary leadership, his remarkable custodianship, his passion for excellence as a go getter, and unflinching passion for societal development and nation building is uncommon.
” I must state that even before the ascension of His Royal majesty to the throne, the world holds His Royal Majesty’s outstanding and impeccable achievements with high regard.
His revisit of the past to reverse an age-long curse placed on Nigeria by past leaders as a result of alleged injustice meted out to him is highly commendable”, he added.
Akpobi said his organization is hopeful that the reign of His Highness will bring unity, progress and prosperity to the Itsekiri nation as well as Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.
