AFRICA- ICABAR APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT AT A CRUCIAL MEETING, SET FOR A TOUR OF AFRICAN NATIONS FOR STRATEGIC INTERFACE

At a critical engagement held at the prestigious Rockview Hotel, FESTAC town in Lagos, the International Council of Apostles and Bishops for African Regeneration, ICABAR has appointed a new President, and drawn up schedules to achieve its 2025 mission.

The just unveiled president, Bishop (Dr.) Wilson Nwokocha, bishop of His Grace Annointed Deliverance Church – the healing pool, FESTAC, Lagos, led the charting of the African visits, agenda which includes presentation, decoration of Apostles and Bishops in Ghana, Liberia, even familiarization.

Significantly, the need for funds to be allocated to handle members needs and propagate the vision of the council towards Africa’s regeneration by God’s standard.

During his acceptance speech, Bishop Nwokocha, described ICABAR as a unique vanguard, adding that he felt immeasurable joy for the opportunity to advance service to God and humanity.

“I never expected this great offer.

“All I can say is that when I left home this morning, I believed that something good will happen to me.

“So my appointment to occupy the presidency of this council has confirmed that feeling”

On how he will carry out his duties, he stressed that God’s hand will be upon him for leading and grace.

International Prelate, United Gospel Churches Association of Nations, UGCAN (The parent of ICABAR), Bishop Priscilla Otuya, while expressing her mood, stated that excitement, joy and fulfilment are apt words to describe the scenario.

In the same vein, Women Leader, Mmaju Nene – Kalu simply referred to Bishop Nwokocha and his emergence as ‘sweet smelling savour’.

“When I walked into the venue, and saw the ornament on the neck of the new Bishop, though I never knew or met him, a voice echoed , ‘sweet smelling savour’.

“So this is my honest description of him and the development”, Kalu averred.

Apostle Amos Akinwale, National Organising Leader, UGCAN and a host of others were among the Executive that graced the great event .
