Iconic Town Planners joined other Development – Practitioners in Lagos, last week at a special Nation Builders Assembly to receive the coveted Nigerian Statesmanship Seal.
The seal, a media award initiated to recognize rising statesmen in Nigeria is an initiative of Timeswatch News Magazine, supported by New Nigeria Leadership Forum, NNLF, to celebrate patriotism, industry and productivity in nation building.


The national development event which held at the serene Bible Guest House, Palmgrove Estate, Ilupeju unveiled recipients such as renowned academia, entrepreneur, politician and philanthropist, His Excellency, Prof Christopher Imumolen, who is also the President, Institute of Skills Qualification and Development Nigeria, ISQ; Education Technician, Viola Akhigbe, PhD, Dr.(Chief) Solomon D. Vongfa, National President, Nigeria Association of Small Scale Industrialists, NASSI, Pastor Prosper Kanayo, Founder, SeeJoy Foundation; Tpl Bello Risikat Bukola Bello, Pioneer National Chairman, Association of Women Town Planners in Nigeria, AWTPN; TPL Ganiyu Adekunle Salami; TPL Ajose Victoria Taiwo; TPL Bello Oluwayinka, TPL Alaka Yemisi Olayinka, TPL Lion Chief Soledotun Titilope Abdulkarim Yusuf; Tpl Jamila Shehu.

Other awardees who dotted the hall of fame are Alternative Healthcare Professionals such as Amb. Ikechukwu James Divine Egbo; Dr. Ngozi Precious Amanze; Chief Yeye Osunbunmi Billykisu Musiliudeen, etc.
Political leadership figures, education sector icons and traditional rulers are also lined up for the second phase of NSS slated for later this year.

Speaking of the program to newsmen on ground that day, Editor in Chief, Timeswatch News Magazine and Coordinator, NSS 2025, Emeagi Emeka Williams, described the event as a step towards national development; stressing that it is a strategic media journey which began since 2008, and had recorded tremendous success by encouraging patriotism, productivity, and motivating aspiring young people to tow paths of honour and integrity.
According to Williams, Great Nigerians such as Dr. Taiwo Afolabi of Sifax Group, Her Excellency, Dr. Turai Yar Adua, countless others have been decorated by this organisation at different fora and venues.
He however saluted the recipients of NSS for being exemplary, and for maintaining enviable citizenship in character and socio economic relevance;
expressing optimism that their best is still ahead.
One of the honorands, Amb. Ikechukwu James Divine Egbo, in similar vein, rated the recognition as unique and an energizing tonic for greater successes in life.
He equally stressed that with the totem of a statesman from this award, his commitment to building a better Nigeria has grown mightily.
