Political observers and netizens, on Thursday got startled about the news of the police in Ogun state hampering the crucial campaign move of the African Democratic Alliance, ADC, a party which now reportedly sends jitters down the spine of the ruling party.

The alleged politically motivated campaign obstruction happened at Remo area of Ogun state in the bid to stop ADC’s candidate, Solomon Osho, who is a powerful hopeful for the legislative seat.
According to reports already replete in the media space, the police could not provide cogent reasons for impeding that campaign move.
However, newsmen gathered that in spite of the obvious acts of pre election gerrymandering, Hon. Osho remains confident about winning the August 17 National Assembly By – Election; and has promised to consolidate on the moves to create Ijebu province as an independent state out of Ogun; and to catalyse development as a representative with vast experience.

Osho enjoys the support of key players of the ADC such as the former governor of Osun state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, who have lamented the current action of the police.
