During a prayer session to mark his resumption of office on Friday 5th Jan. Hon. Chief Julius Abayomi Folowosele, new Executive Chairman of Ijero Local Government, had re assured the people of his readiness to bring rapid growth and exceptional leadership.
At this ceremony which held inside the council secretariat, led by the Anglican Bishop, Adagbada; Folowosele also rendered thanksgiving to God for being his guide through the race .
Also present at the occasion were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Bose Jallo, Comrade Joel Bamidele, Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Tunde Alagbo, Director of Administration, Mr. Olaiya A.Z, Deputy Head of Administration, Mr. Deji Enuiyin, staffers of the Local Government and other political stalwarts who came to celebrate the chairman.
Speaking about the day to media men shortly after the program, the Chairman said he feels immeasurable joy to have this opportunity to contribute to national development through his beat.
He urged the people to be law abiding, and sought their ultimate cooperation.
Folowosele used the medium to salute the political Who-is-Who in Ekiti state and Ijero all their supports, reminding everyone of his campaign promises which were inspired by a peculiar penchant for societal development through leadership creativity, accountability and transparency.
Earlier on Thursday following his official inauguration at the Governor’s office in Ado Ekiti, Folowosele hosted what could be termed a thank – you rendezvous for the people at his residence on Folowosele quarters, Oke – Igemo, Ijero Ekiti.
