2023 polls: Monarch tasks, Politicians, Stakeholders On Peaceful Elections

Few hours to the 2023 general election in Nigeria, The traditional head of Igala people in Iba Local Council development area (LCDA) Lagos state, HIs Royal Highness, Zakariyau Attah Odoma , has called for peaceful conduct of the 2003 general election. He made the appeal today, in an interview with City Herald Magazine in his palace. The monarch said . Those people planning to foment trouble during the election should not forget that, who lives in a glass house , should not throw stones you can start a war but you may not have control over the outcome and consequences “.He urged Nigerians to come out en mass to cast their votes for their preferred candidate to bring about needed development in the country. “I also call on all security agencies to be civil in discharging their duties during the election and also ensure close cooperation and collaboration. Zakariyau also thanked the Lagos state government for the recognition accorded to Igala people in the state and we will continue supporting the Action People Congress ( APC )led Government in the state . He urged Igala sons and daughters in Lagos state to be law abiding and shun vices capable of tarnishing their reputation.
