The Baale (Traditional Head) of Aboru Land in Agbado/Okeodo Local Council Development Area,Alimosho,Lagos State,Chief Rasak Akinde Bamgbopa has cried out to the Lagos State Govt. that the people of Aboru need modern market place for organised commercial and trading activities,in order to ameliorate their suffering of having to travel far for such activities.

Speaking yesterday with Timeswatch in his palace during his condolence message on the death of Dr. Augustine Arogundade, former Executive Chairman of the LCDA,who passed on days ago,Cheif Bamgbopa expressed pain and worry that despite the availability of over 6 acres of land for a market project, the people of Aboru still travel far for market purposes.

Hesaid that the late council boss was all out to actualise the market for Aboru people, but that death has cut him off.

He therefore called on the authorities to come to the aid of Aboru people by coming to develop this expanse of land sacredly set aside for this essential economic project that will enhance the living standard of the people. Bamgbopa hailed Governor Sanwo-Olu for his great governance initiatives which has began to yield results already.
