EFFECTIVE POLICING: LAGOS CP COMMISSIONS BLOCK OF OFFICES IN OJO DIVISIONAL HEADQUARTERS – HOLDS STAKEHOLDERS MEETING AT AREA ‘E’

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos state, Fayoade Adegoke, on Thursday 16th May, Commissioned a building at the Ojo divisional headquarters for the convenience of men and officers, and efficiency in service delivery.

The occasion which attracted the creme de la creme of that area was also used to honour stakeholders who support security and safety services in the area by the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Umar Bala.
While delivering his speech, Bala noted that the donors who made the project a reality have succeeded in equipping the police to carry out their business of protection of lives and property, and maintenance of law and order.
According to him, men and officers of Ojo division will have better space to prepare for enhanced performance.
In expressing joy over the milestone achievement, he extended gratitude to the business and traders community of the area for their contributions while urging them to continue to support police initiatives for improved police coverage of the areas.

“The completion of this new building marks a significant step forward in our efforts to improve our working conditions and efficiency of our officers.
“With this additional office space, we can now better coordinate our operations, and respond more effectively to the needs of the community we serve.
“This, in turn, will enhance our ability to combine crime and safeguard the safety and security of our citizens”, Bala assured.

The long list of the donors and supporters to whom he extended deep gratitude included;
HRM, Oba Galib Adeniyi Rufai, the Olojo of Ojo kingdom; His Highness, Alhaji Abdullahi Bebeji, Sarkin of Ojo, High Chief Caminus, President, Amalgamated Union, Alaba Int’l Market.

In continuation of his crucial tour, the COMPOL left Ojo and also berthed at the Area “E” Command where, Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP, Eburuaja Nwachukwu had prepared the ground for a Town Hall Meeting.
The CP has been championing all – inclusive policing that that incorporates civil procedures in enforcement, since his inception!
