Panegyrics poured on Friday as Timeswatch News Magazine honoured principal officers of the Iba Division, Lagos Police Command.
The Officers, Chief Supretendent of Police, CSP Fasilat S. Bakare, Divisional Police Officer, DPO; Supol Godwin Obue, Crime Section Head and Inspector Friday Egaji, Station Officer, were conferred with different award tittles as marks of productivity on their beats.

While the DPO received the plaque of honour inside her office, the others were decorated inside the “elders chamber “, a wing of the appurtenances of the station otherwise known as the palace where men, officers and stakeholders agglomerate for efficiency, discipline and growth of the station.

The awards which were specific to the functions of the recipients were designed to motivate them for greater commitment and patriotism, and in tandem with the media’s national development mission which began since 2009.

Men who were on ground for the great presentation at the palace are:
Friday Egaji (King of the Royal Palace or Elders Chamber); Godwin Obue (Afobaje of the palace); Oni Silas (Disciplinary Committee Chair); Benson A. Odinandsen (Decorum Officer); Olusegun Matthew (PRO); Endurance Aghado (Odionwei): Erejuwa Kolawole O, irss, member of the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs, NIIA( Secretary ).

Eulogies and words of encouragement trailed the bestowment, signposting that the recipients merited the great honour conferred upon them.
