It was an agglomeration of jubilant family members, friends, associates and well – wishers last Saturday as Mrs. Adetunji Adetutu Christiana, popularly known as ‘Olori’ marked her 50th birthday.
The grand occasion which took place at the events auditorium of the Igando/Ikotun Local Council Development Area Secretariat was full of fun as there were lots of entertainment, presentations, wining and dining.
The beautifully decorated auditorium was aflame with guests who were elated to see the golden Olori rejoice on her special day.
Amongst dignitaries whose faces beamed with beauty and delight were members of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, NAPPS and a few staff of Lagos state Ministry of Environment,
who bore various gifts for their celebrating colleague.
A prominent Gender rights activist who is also the President of Maryland Royal Lions Club, Hon.Deaconess Bukola Soaga Bada was also in this august rendezvous used to celebrate a woman of courage, industry and great virtues who just climbed unto the fifth floor.
Bada, in talking about the celebrant, marshalled endless panegyrics to describe Adetutu, who she especially labeled as good, kind, compassionate, loving, humble, respectful and more.
Hon. Bada’s emotional description of Olori indeed pointed at the enviable feminine characteristics of the birthday “girl” whose manifest godliness and simplicity dotted her personality.
A female colleague of Adetutu’s husband also graced the red carpet to testify to how Adetutu’s unique attributes reflects in the peaceful and efficient conducts of her colleague at work.
It was tears evoking how all the interviewed guests shared amazing remarks of the celebrant who busied herself ensuring that her guests were well served.
A Proprietress, Abosede Bamidele, an Ebony beauty, whose simple fashion elegance at the event represented a message of modesty and decency to women, used the moment to make a call to women at large, to emulate Olori whom she called adorable, down-to-earth and godly.
When Olori spoke, she simply thanked God for sparring her life.
She equally prayed that her desires for a better life will be granted by God.
She appreciated all the people who made her event thick.
Celebration began early that day and lasted deep into the evening, as guests lingered to savour every aspect of the merrymaking.
