A tertiary institution student in Lagos has landed in Prison after being arrested for forgery of payment tellers.
The student simply identified as Gideon committed this crime in order to outsmart the authorities of the school to pave his way for clearance.
He was said to have been charged to the Badagry Magistrate Court and was subsequently remanded in Badagry Prison
Gideon is to remain in custody till Sept 9 when he may be jailed after the hearing.
Reactions have however trailed the correctional action within the school, and the management has used the medium to warn those who are indulging in such criminal activities to desist, or be ready to face similar consequences sooner or later.
